MySide Advocacy offers support and guidance for families working to secure the right provision for a young person whose education has been disrupted due to their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

We work across the South of England. We have over 50 years of SEND experience between us and have developed strong links with independent experts and professionals working in the SEND field.
​
As a headteacher of SEND schools for the last decade I have worked with and represented young people and families across Hampshire and Surrey. Working with teams around the child and legal representatives.
​
Our Lead Advisor has led therapy departments for over a decade and holds a lead role around EHCP development and SENDist tribunal work.

COSTS TO FAMILY
FREE
£450 one-off cost
*£75 per hour plus VAT
Advocacy/Attendance at SEND Tribunals and meetings, plus preparation and travel time to/from those meetings
*£95 per hour plus VAT
The expert fees are a matter between you and the expert
To initiate an Initial Case Review you will be asked to share all the documentation regarding your child. We will review the documentation and produce a written advice report:

Client case work including EHCP development and liaison with independent / expert witnesses
Expert Witnesses: (Educational Psychologist (EP) and sometimes a Speech & Language Therapist (SALT) or Occupational Therapist (OT). There may be others involved as well such as a Paediatrician or a Clinical Psychologist (CP) or Social Worker (SW).
