Headteacher's welcome
I am privileged to have opened this wonderful new school providing a unique service for young people, with an EHCP who are not in formal schooling, to help them re-engage with learning, life and beyond. Our mission is to help young people with SEN to find self-agency, increase their life chances and thrive, as individuals and within their communities.
Everything we do is underpinned by our values of Wellbeing, Connection and Empowerment. When young people join us, we always take time to understand them and work closely with the family to ensure the young person transitions successfully into our school. Most have been through some challenging educational experiences and we employ trauma-informed strategies as part of our therapeutic approach alongside a high-quality project-based and wellbeing curriculum to help them heal, recalibrate their mindset and build resilience.
Each one of our students are a success story, in their own right. We boost and leverage their strengths to help them realise what they are truly made of, leading to academic and personal growth. We hope this website provides you with an insight into what we are about. We welcome visitors and hold regular open days, so please do get in touch if you would like any further information.
Best wishes,
Nazya Ghalib
