Join our mission to create equitable communities that thrive from serving each other and our planet!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our Surrey team as Coffee Shop Coordinator. You’ll be based at the Cookie Bar in Hindhead at the heart of our operation working with a brilliant Coffee Shop Manager supporting her to run a well-loved, local coffee shop famed for its coffee, cookies and fun, vibrant atmosphere. From September 2022, you will also be working with students on their workplace-based education journey when they join our Enterprise College.
At Pathways Education we believe everyone has unique skills and talents with something valuable to contribute to our communities and wider society. Our Enterprise Colleges in Surrey and London provide innovative and accessible workplace-based education to young people aged 19-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our aim is to spark a workplace revolution that radically improves the currently unacceptable 5.1% employment rate for people with SEND. Upon completing their education with us, we support our students to find employment either through their own businesses (every penny of profit we make from the coffees we sell becomes seed funding for student ventures), in our coffee shops, or our wider network.
As a social enterprise, we strive for profit to achieve our vision. Each person in Pathways Education has a role to play in achieving that vision; to create an international network of schools, enterprise colleges, and co-operatives where every member of our community finds personal and societal purpose and fulfilment.
Will you choose to matter?
Join our movement and give invaluable support to students with SEND seeking employable skills.
