Pathways Enterprise College is a specialist, forward-thinking provision offering outstanding further education for a group of unique young adults aged 18-25, with moderate learning difficulties/ASD. This is an exciting role for those who want to change the narrative of education. Our unique offer leads students to develop as social entrepreneurs, bike mechanics, and coffee industry professionals as well gain industry recognised and vocational qualifications.
Our current provision is a new provision in west London which will be inviting its first ever cohort through our doors this Autumn. The expected number of adult learners will be a total of 18. There will be three groups of six learners with a dynamic timetable to facilitate our bespoke Business Enterprise curriculum. The college week also entails virtual learning, wellbeing, and barista and bike repair training with our experienced staff as well as teaching onsite in Park Royal.
There are plans to expand over the coming years to additional sites and with growing numbers of learners, thereby offering opportunities for continued professional development for an aspiring leader.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint a creative, motivated and enthusiastic teacher who can plan flexibly and deliver, facilitate and evolve our well designed and resourced curriculum. We prefer candidates who are organised, enjoy working in a team, possess a positive work ethic and having ideas is always welcome. Experience of working within an SEN setting or with SEN students is essential and basic IT skills to support our virtual curriculum.
