School achieves ‘Good’ Ofsted rating

Updated: Jun 24, 2022

Following our school's first full Ofsted inspection, we're delighted to confirm that Pathways Education school has achieved a rating of ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Our Headteacher Nazya Ghalib shares her gratitude and thanks in an excerpt from a letter to parents below;

The inspection took place over two days last month and was very rigorous and I thank all those who took part in it. I do hope when you read the report you will see that it represents a school that is not only good, but one that is deliberately developmental, with our young people at the heart of its work.
A year ago, we accepted our first students through the door and thus began the journey of the Pathways community. I am sure you will join us all in celebrating the success of the school being securely ‘Good’ across all categories. We believe we provide high quality care, education and support for our young people and we are pleased that the hard work undertaken by everyone that is a part of this community, including staff, students, parents and governors, has been recognised.
As our vision states: ‘We create opportunities for young people to find self-agency and carve pathways’. This community has a shared determination to continue to build on the success of the last academic year. We are still in our infancy, and are committed to developing our provision, in quality and quantity; to inspire and be change-makers in the education sector, and we hope to see you on this journey with us.
We have created something special here in such a short space of time and we have a lot to be proud of. I thank you all for your continued support, it is greatly valued and appreciated.
With very best wishes,
Nazya Ghalib
